Andrew Sinkinson (also called King of Foxtrot) is a former professional ballroom dancer specialize in International Style Standard. Andrew is a World and European Amateur Standard champion as well as three times Blackpool Dance Festival Standard Champion. Andrew is now a widely sought after instructor, adjudicator, choreograph and organizer of the prestigious The "London Ball".

Overview

Together Andrew Sinkinson with his partner Loraine Barry won many Amateur titles such as British Open Youth Ballroom, and won the Amateur Blackpool Dance Festival three times- 1987, 1988, & 1989. Andrew and Loraine traveled around the world competing regularly and winning Grand Slam titles such as: the UK Open Championship, European Open Championship and World Championship. After winning the Blackpool Dance Festival Open Amateur Competition Loraine and Andrew decided to turn Professional in 1989.

In 1990 they competed for the first time professionally at the Professional British Open and won the Slow Foxtrot over Marcus & Karen Hilton, and John Wood & Anne Lewis. This was quite an outstanding result for their first Professional British Open Competition. Andrew and Loraine Barry were very successful together touring around the world and teaching as new professionals. In 1993 Loraine and Andrew sadly ended their partnership.

In 1995 Andrew Sinkinson begun dancing with Eleny Fotinos. The highest result of their competitive career was final at the Professional Blackpool Dance Festival in International Style Standard.

From 1996 to 1997 Andrew Sinkinson was dancing with Adele Preston. For that short partnership they have accomplished: finalist of the UK Open Championships, Vice Champions at the "German Open" in Mannheim known now as "German Open championships" (GOC) in Stuttgart, 3-d at the United States Dancesport Championships and British Closed Championships International Style Standard Champions.

By the end of the 1997 Andrew and Charlotte Jorgensen decided to dance together. First competition was Blackpool Dance Festival were couple placed 4-th in Professional Standard. During their competitive career couple placed second in the British Open, UK Open Championships, European and World Championships.

Since his retirement, He has become a ballroom trainer,adjudicator and travels worldwide for coaching. Also Andrew is organizer of the prestigious The "London Ball".
