Horst Beer is a former professional ballroom dancer specialize in Latin, Standard and 10 Dance. Has won German Open Championships, Blackpool Dance Festival and World Championships. Horst have trained formation dance team in Latin, Standard. WDSF,Adjudicator "A".

Overview

Horst Beer is a German ballroom dancer, instructor, coach and choreographer in International Style Latin, Standard, 10 Dance and formation dance sport. Horst Beer is the son of a dancesport instructor (Helmut Beer) and owner of the dance school of the same name in "Bremerhaven".

From 1981 to 1986, he and his partner and later wife Andrea Lankenau(Beer) won the German Open Championships in the Latin American dances six times in a row.

In 1985 he won the dance World Championship Latin in Amateur Division of DanceSport. In the same year Horst with his partner and wife Andrea Beer have won British Open Championships in category Amateur Latin. In 1987 Horst Beer and Andrea Beer continue their competitive career in category Professional. They dancing in all styles, Latin, Standard and 10 Dance.

In new category they have won Germany Mannheim dancesport competition, now know as German Open Championships(GOC), finalist at European and World Dancesport Championships and placed second at World Professional South American Showdance.

He trained the Latin formation dance of the TSG Bremerhaven from 1984 until his resignation on 21 May 2008. From 1999 until the dissolution of the formation in early 2004, he also trained the standard formation (A-Team) of TSG Bremerhaven.

Since 2011 he has been a member of the German Dance Sports Association. also Horst is a member of World DanceSport Federation,Adjudicator "A" in Disciplines: Latin, Standard], [[Formation Dance, Showdance, Judging System 2.0, Judging System 2.1.
