Charles Penatello is the Directors of the Fred Astaire New Jersey Region. He is the former Fred Astaire National American Style Champion, Charlie excels in both American Smooth and American Rhythm.

Overview

Charles Penatello is the other voice you hear at the Fred Astaire National Competitions. Charlie and his wife and partner, Jeanne, have become known for their larger than life personalities on the dance floor. As a Fred Astaire National American Style Champion, Charlie excels in both American Smooth and American Rhythm.

Charles and Jean Penatello are the Directors of the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. They were undefeated in the following American Style American Smooth and American Rhythm Championships from 1982-1984 on the: "Canadian La Classique Championships", "Texas Challenge Championships", Ohio Star Ball Championships, "United States Dance Ballroom Championships", "United States World America’s Cup Championship" (held at the Felt Forum in Madison Square Garden, New York, NY, where they retired from competition).

Presently, Charles and Jean are world adjudicators, New Jersey Area Directors and Stockholders of the Fred Astaire Organization.

Charles is a wonderful choreographer for either an open routine or an attention-grabbing Solo. Also Charlie is the member in National Dance Council of America.
