Mirjam is a WDSF World Amateur 10 Dance Finalist, WDSF World Cup Amateur Latin Champion, WDDSC European Professional Ten Dance Champion, WDDSC World Professional Ten Dance Champion. Currently Mirjam is a WDSF Licensed Adjudicator, coach, instructor and organizer of the dance camp "The Dance Factory".
Modern Sequence Dance is a part of what is known as sequence dancing. Modern Sequence Dance is a combination of steps from each of the Ballroom and Latin dances. The steps are arranged in a repeatable group or sequence, which generally consists of 16 bars of music.

The North American DanceSport Teachers Association is a Professional Certification Organization that has been a member of the National Dance Council of America since 1969.
