Mirjam is a WDSF World Amateur 10 Dance Finalist, WDSF World Cup Amateur Latin Champion, WDDSC European Professional Ten Dance Champion, WDDSC World Professional Ten Dance Champion. Currently Mirjam is a WDSF Licensed Adjudicator, coach, instructor and organizer of the dance camp "The Dance Factory".
Modern Sequence Dance is a part of what is known as sequence dancing. Modern Sequence Dance is a combination of steps from each of the Ballroom and Latin dances. The steps are arranged in a repeatable group or sequence, which generally consists of 16 bars of music.

The North American DanceSport Teachers Association is a Professional Certification Organization that has been a member of the National Dance Council of America since 1969. NADTA offers examinations to become Professional Dance Instructors as well as Certified Adjudicators in the International Style Standard, Latin and Theatrical as well as American Style divisions.
