San Marino DanceSport Federation - is the official national governing body for DanceSport (the competitive version of ballroom dancing) in the Republic of San Marino. Member of World DanceSport Federation(WDSF), President - Fabrizzio Perotto.
The San Marino DanceSport Festival is a sanctioned 2-day San Marino DanceSport Federation competition, recognized by the WDSF. Hosted in Republic of San Marino by 5-time Italian National Champions, Davide Gabusi & Claudia Tavalazzi. The 2018 San Marino DanceSport Festival includes various WDSF sanctioned events such as the WDSF World Open, (Standard and Latin, WDSF events for PD, Senior (1,2,3), Youth and Juniors.
Sandra Fortuna is a former professional ballet dancer, a certified fitness instructor, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Butler University, Jordan College of Music. She has won many prestigious awards in the United States including 3rd, 2nd, and 1st places as Top Teacher in the US Top Teacher Championships, as well as 1st place as the Top Female Teacher in the NADOA Challenge of Champions.
She is a well-known DanceSport coach and a national Adjudicator who is certified and licensed by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF).
Sarwat Kaluby, trained classically in ballet by such top world performers as Mikhail Baryshnikov, is a world-renowned adjudicator, DanceSport instructor, examiner and choreographer who holds a BA and MA from the Kirov (Mariinsky) Theatre in St. Petersburg. He has owned and directed seven dance studios and five major championships, including the Jacksonville Star Ball and the First Coast Classic DanceSport Championships.
Sasha Bylim is a former consecutive 3-time Ukrainian Amateur Champion in the Standard, Latin, and 10-Dance divisions as well as a 3-time Ukrainian Professional Ballroom Champion. He is the Co-National Dance Director of Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studios Inc. and is the studio manager and owner of the Fred Astaire Franchised Dance Studio in Tarrytown, New York (USA).
The Schottische is a partnered country dance, that apparently originated in Bohemia. It was popular in Victorian era ballrooms as a part of the Bohemian folk-dance craze and left its traces in folk music of countries such as Argentina, Finland, France, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, and the United States, among other nations.
Scott Anderson is a former Professional American Style dancer, specializing in American Smooth. Amy & her husband Scott Anderson are United States Rising Star American Smooth Champions & Open Finalists and Fred Astaire National American Smooth Champions. The Andersons organizers of the Twin Cities Open Ballroom Championships in Minneapolis. In 1998 & 99, they produced WORLDANCE as well as Fiesta for Francesca” in 2002.
Sequence dancing is a form of dance in which a preset pattern of movements is followed, usually to music which is also predetermined. Sequence dancing may include dances of many different styles such as Ballroom Dances, which move round the floor, as well as Line, Square and Circle dances.

Sergey Belyaev is a former ballroom dancer specialize in International Style Latin, Standard and 10 Dance. He is a Danish National Finalist, Finland National Finalist and winner of many prestigious international dancesport competitions throughout the world. Sergey is a DanceSport coach of the highest qualification, Licensed World DanceSport Federation Adjudicator, Vice President and Sports Director of Finland's PD Dance Training Coaches and Judges Association, Owner and head coach of "Dance club Master", Dance Studio in Finland and Organizer of the most important competition event of the "Finnish Open" the WDSF Grand Slam Standard and Latin.
Sergey Ryupin is the current President of the Moscow Dance Union, the Vice President of WDC, and a former World Cup Professional Latin Champion.

Sirpa Suutari-Jääskö is a Finnish Professional Ballroom dancer, specializing in the Latin division. She is a former 4-time British Open to the World Professional Latin Champion and the owner of the Haapalainen Suutarijääskö Dance Studios with partner and husband Jukka Haapalainen.
The Skating system is a method of compiling scores in ballroom dance competitions. It was introduced by the British Official Board of Ballroom Dancing (now British Dance Council) in 1937.
Slavik Kryklyvyy is a former Professional Ballroom Dance competitor specializing in the International Latin style. He is a World and Blackpool Amateur Latin Champion, a 5-time United States Professional Latin Champion as well as a Silver Medalist of the World and Blackpool Professional Latin Championships.
