The Jive originated in the United States in the 1930s and refers to a style of ballroom dancing included in DanceSport categories of competition. African Americans began performing a series of steps to Swing and Rock & Roll music and therefore created what we know today as the Jive.

The Junior Athletes DanceSport Association (JADA) - was created to represent Junior & Youth DanceSport competitors in the United Sates. JADA is a group that is intended to provide a place where parents and others can ask questions, share experiences, and at times frustrations with this addicting and exciting world of ballroom dance. They are not only have parents in their group, but dancers, studio representatives, teachers, adjudicators and competition organizers.

The Junior Division of DanceSport is a competitive division of Ballroom Dancing. Junior category competing in "International Style Latin", "Standard" and 10 Dance. Junior I: Reach 12th or 13th birthday in the calendar year, Junior II: Reach 14th or 15th birthday in the calendar year.

Juergen Neudeck is a professioanl bollroom dancer, semi-finalist at the World and European Championships. Jürgen was co-responsible for the development of dance teacher and trainer education in ADTV as Deputy RLA Director. Juergen is instructor, coach, National Adjudicator for the Fédération Française de Danse,as well as adjudicator for the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF). He is one of the creators of "nnsquare".

Jurij Batagelj - is a professional ballroom dancer, choreographer, director, screenwriter, teacher and former latin-american competitor. After winning the title of Slovenian National Champions he and his partner Jagoda Batagelj also won the title of World Cup Champions just a few months later and in 2010 they became European Champions.

Karina Rubio is a professional ballroom dancer, specialize in International Style Latin. Karina is a 9 Times Spanish Amateur Latin Champion and a Semi-Finalist at the many major competitions in the world of DanceSport. Now she is Instructor, Coach, Dance Studio owner in Spain and National Adjudicator for Spanish DanceSport Federation as well as Adjudicator for the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF).

Karina Smirnoff is a Professional Ballroom dancer, best known for her role on Dancing with the Stars. She is a five-time United States National Champion in the Professional Latin division and is the first woman to have ever made it into the Professional Latin final at the Blackpool Dance Festival with three different partners.

Karita Yli-Piipari is a former professional ballroom dancer, 15 Finnish National Championships titles in International Style Standard (Ballroom), International latin, and 10-dance.

Katarzyna Kozak, known as Kasia, is one of the most respected dancers, choreographers and coaches in America. She is the creator of Kasia's High Heel Boot Camp, the world's only Ballroom Dance workshop designed exclusively for ladies to help them take their Latin skills to a new level.
