Andrei Gavriline (originally from Russia) is a three time USA National Professional Latin Champion, Professional Latin Rising Star Blackpool Champion, the founder and owner of Paragon Ballroom, and also the organizer of the Tri-State DanceSport Championships as well as the Paragon Open DanceSport Championships.
Anatoli Gorolevici is a Professional Ballroom Dancer and instructor. He is a former multi-time Moldavian National Champion in the International Standard, 10 Dance and Latin divisions as well as the head coach for the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Ballroom Dance Club, the Harvard Ballroom Dance team and the Northeastern University dance team.
The Amateur Division of DanceSport is a competitive division of Ballroom Dancing. An amateur is a person attached to a particular pursuit, study, or science in a non-professional or unpaid manner. Therefore, an amateur dancer is one who is not financially remunerated for the time they spend dancing or training, even though now in modern times, price rewards are in check at many competitions and championships. As a result, the term "amateur" is more of an upheld ideal.
