Genadi Kijnyer

Genadi Kijnyer is a former Professional Ballroom dancer with over 30 years of teaching experience. He is the founder and director of his dance studio "Dance Zone USA" and is one of the organizers of the Metropolitan DanceSport Championships.

Overview

Genadi Kijnyer participated in World and European Dance Championships in the styles of International Style Standard, Latin and 10 Dance.

He was a finalist of many International Open Championships while representing the country of Russia.

Genadi was the first competitor representing Israel in the World and European Championships. He was also in the final at the European Cup and represented Moldova in International Open Championships.

While still living in Jerusalem, Genadi was a director of the municipal's dance group known as “Dance Express”. He was also the founder and organizer of the Annual Dance Championships “Gold Jerusalem”.

A Career of Spreading Knowledge

With over 30 years of teaching experience, Genadi has trained many couples that have participated in International World Championships. Many were champions and finalists of the United States National and Regional DanceSport Championships in the Standard and Latin divisions, ranging from the age categories of pre-teen, junior, and youth to adult and senior.

Genadi is the former Vice-President of the Israel Association of Teachers and Professional Dancers.

Genadi also has a wide spectrum of classes that he teaches, including seminars in Latin, Standard, and Formation Dance.

Genadi is a certified USA Dance adjudicator (A+, B+, C+, D+, E+), a certified adjudicator of the National Dance Council of America, as well as the founder of his dance studio "Dance Zone USA" located in Brooklyn, NY (USA). Genadi is also one of the organizers of the Metropolitan DanceSport Championships.
